Thakur's LOVE for a street-dog : Once, the keen disciple of Thakur Anukulchandra, Prafulla Kumar Das-da convinced his close friend to come to Deoghar Satsang Ashram to meet and discuss with Thakur. His name was Manoranjan Das (a cadre of IAS or Indian Administrative Service). The day, Manoranjan-da met Thakur, Thakur was deeply upset. With heavy heart Thakur told him – I am not in a positon to talk to you! That dog (a street-dog, suffering from cold-n-fever) died yesterday. I could not cure him though tried....Ishould have done more.....I should have taken more care ! Prafulla-da felt embarrassed as he was hoping that Thakur will talk with his friend generously. When Prafulla-da expressed sorry to his friend, then Manoranjan-da told – What I saw today, that is far beyond my expectation ! What a feeling and love of Thakur for a neglected street-dog too !
